Welcome to SpaceUp Haifa!
We are proud to announce the first SpaceUp Unconference to be held in the Middle East! SpaceUp Haifa will be hosted by the Technion Israel Institute of Technology and the International Space University, during the ISU Space Studies Program 2016. On Friday 22 July 2016 the Technion Faculty of Aerospace Engineering will open its doors to anyone willing to share his or her vision about space. SpaceUp Haifa aims at being a new open discussion and idea generation platform for the region’s space community.
With many ISU Space Studies Program participants present at Technion during the event, this edition of SpaceUp will be very international! The official unconference language will be English. Seating will be limited to 150 people, so hardly ‘limited’…

At SpaceUp YOU make the program. Having said that, we facilitate you by providing slots and breaks in between slots for coffee, food and more networking. See the preliminary program here.
Registration
Registration is open now for anyone interested in talking space in Israel! Just press below button to go to our registration page on EventBrite. For only 90 Shekels you will receive coffee, a light lunch and the famous SpaceUp space goodie bag.
Please note that participants of the ISU Space Studies Program, as well as students of the Technion Faculty of Aerospace Engineering and the Press will be able to register for free. They will be asked for a valid student ID at the door.
New Space Entrepreneurship
Israel is Startup Nation and Haifa is Startup City! Being at Technion, with its famous T3 Technion Technology Transfer business accellerator program, we aim to have a good percentage of talks to be about generating new space startup ideas. SpaceUp is the ideal platform to develop ideas and test them with specialists, peers and the general public. We will greatly welcome talks about space entreneurship opportunities.
